TIMELESS TIME Going into the weekend, I say we dream a little. Or maybe a lot.  For the past two nights, I have been dreaming about cookies, but I thought I’d offer a completely materialistic dream (this is a style blog). I stopped in my tracks when I saw these watches in the Beverly Hills Hotel last week.  Sophisticated with a hint of contemporary flair, the three styles had me captivated.  And the best part was, I had never heard of Backes & Strauss before! Which must mean everyone and their brother isn’t sporting one. (Let’s dare to venture outside of the Cartier and Rolex sphere shall we.) After a little research, I found out that Backes & Strauss is the oldest and one of the most renown diamond companies. That being said, my favorite is the one on the left, without the diamonds.  As the company was founded in London, the styles are all named after London landmarks: Classic Berkely, Diamond Berkeley, The Regent (shown left to right, not pictured The Piccadilly). Unique and timeless, could you ask for anything more! I have no idea how much they cost, nor do I dare look.  Just something beautiful to smile about.
